Nottingham City Council has an exciting opportunity in the Facilities Management and Building Services Team for a Building Cleaning Operations Manager.

We occupy and operate within a wide ranging and varied portfolio of properties across the City to enable a variety of services to be delivered to our citizens, users and visitors to Nottingham.

As Building Cleaning Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large frontline workforce on all aspects of the building cleaning service ensuring that performance delivery and value for money are maximised, along with contractual and business targets achieved in line with organisational policies, procedures and core values. You will have experience in leading change in the culture and working practices of front-line employees, experience of effective negotiation and consultation with staff groups.

You will have significant and proven experience of working in a commercial environment and experience of policy development, project work, cross departmental and multi-agency working. We're looking for a proven track record in successfully developing and implementing plans and strategies to support commercial and income generating activities.
