ER Specialist - Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire/Bedfordshire with travel
1 x Perm role 2 x 12 month FTC - GBP40,000 + cGBP5K car allowance
Our client, a global brand and household name, are looking for 3 experienced ER Specialists to join their Employee relations team working as part of the wider HR function. Supporting a UK population of close to 6,000 staff you will have end to end responsibility of ER resolution with Managers.
As an ER Specialist you will take ownership of ER issues from the first point of contact with managers and staff right through to resolution. This will therefore mean that you will deal with a wide variety of issues ranging from basic queries right through to potentially contentious issues such as Tribunals. You will support Managers initially via telephone and email but travel will be a big part of your role. This could include locations right across the UK and it is anticipated that you will travel a couple of times a week.
As well as dealing with ER issues this role would also include supporting with the creation and also amendment of policies and procedures as well as the creating of letters. It is also anticipated that this role will include the creation and delivery of training to manager to raise capability within operations to deal with ER issues.
To be successful in this role it is anticipate that you with have either an generalist HR background or specialist ER/Employment Law background, either way you will need to be able to demonstrate robust experience in this area along with a commercial outlook. You will need to be able to apply you knowledge to within a large multi-site organisation and have the flexibility to respond via telephone, email or face to face as required.
