The Role
My client is looking for Optometrists who share the same values as the company and who are looking to work for a business that truly lives these values. An Optometrist who wants to make a real difference in the lives of their Patients and someone who believes that everyone has the fundamental right to sight.

As an Optometrist at this company, you will enjoy working in an environment which gives you the professional freedom to make key clinical decisions. An environment that is not sales focused but is Patient Centred where your focus will be around improving the individual's quality of life.
They offer flexible working hours for our Full and Part time Optometrists. On a daily basis you will visit different care homes, meeting different patients with complex sight issues, this alone gives you the opportunity to learn and develop on your existing clinical skills.
Joint Venture
Our Optometrists will also have the opportunity take local ownership of their area through a Joint-Venture business model.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as a key ambassador for the business
• Treat every Patient with Empathy, Courtesy and Respect in a dignified way.
• Treat every Patient as an individual using only the most appropriate methods and technology
• Carry out eye examinations to Patients with a range of different needs who are unable to attend a high street practice.
• Offer help and advice to Patients and Carers with regard to eye health, spectacles required, and frame and lens choice.
• Ensure record cards, GOS paperwork and referrals are completed accurately and legibly.
• Carry out a handover with patients, care home manager and/or family members to discuss the examination results and any recommendations.
• Actively participate in team meetings to look for areas of improvement and receive feedback.
