Bid Coordinator/Writer Job Description

The Job

We are looking for a talented Bid Coordinator to work on large and very exciting tenders producing successful bids and ensuring quality, competitiveness as well as the day-to day management of completing the tender process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and write bespoke bids, proposals and related tender documents in line with tender requirements
  • Coordinate with brokers and various departments to ensure that the tender requirements are understood and the deadlines are met
  • Generate compliant, clear and compelling text as part of the tender submission
  • Liaise with colleagues across a global network of offices to gather information
  • Compile Supplier Registrations and client presentations
  • Maintain a system to gather and review key learnings from the bid submission process
  • Maintain bid database/library
  • Work closely with the Business Development Director to implement bid processes, bid strategies and assist with ad hoc projects
  • Develop an industry understanding and provide advice and guidance on issues to facilitate effective business decision making

Essential skills and experience

  • Experience in producing informative and persuasive written proposals
  • The ability to interpret complex information
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an excellent grasp of written English, any additional languages are welcome
  • Careful and methodical, yet able to work to tight deadlines whilst working on multiple tenders
  • A demostratable understanding of bid processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; diplomacy, tact, persuasiveness, confidence to deal with a wide range of audience including those at a very senior level
  • Proactive, organised and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Fluency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Keynote

Desirable:

  • Law Degree
  • Technical knowledge of Adobe In Design
