You will work as an office based assistant for the Regional Field Sales Team. You will be the number one point of contact for the team of six Business Development Managers (BDMs) and assist in managing their entire sales pipeline. You will produce quotes, and monitor incoming quote requests and queries, related to new sales. You will assist in compiling presentations and pitches for new business proposals. You will develop a relationship with the customers and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed fully and assist the BDMs in ensuring the CRM system is updated in a timely and accurate manner. You will assist with processing of contracts following the company procedure and utilise the company systems to keep abreast of all work being processed. You will liaise with both internal external service providers to set up and amend contracts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage, organise, and update CRM system
  • Communicate with both internal and external stake holders in support of requests received from the BDMs
  • Ensuring documentation prepared as required, and that the data supplied is processed promptly
  • Ensuring quote documentation is prepared in a timely manner and communicated back to the prospective customer. Create legal e-sign contracts and email to customer on behalf of BDMs
  • Monitor inbound enquiries and liaise with the National Sales Manager to arrange contact with the prospective customers
  • Helping resolve customer queries with the Service depot, to ensure high levels of customer service
  • Daily liaison with other members of the team to provide information and ensure that customers receive excellent customer service
  • Undertaking other general admin such as typing quotes, e-mails, letters, stationery ordering, sorting mail (this list is not exhaustive and other general clerical and support functions may be required)
  • Assist the telemarketer with new data requests and quote requests
  • Contribute to and compile reports for the Salas Manager for the region on a regular and ad-hoc basis
  • Reporting any service deficiencies or difficulties to the appropriate manager.
  • Adhere to stated company policies and procedures relating to health and safety, quality management etc
  • Type and word-process various documents and electronic information in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • To undertake any other reasonable task as instructed
  • Continuously ensuring you and your colleagues' safety and promoting a safety culture
  • To assist with holiday cover for the rest of the administration team

Key Skills:

  • Experience of working in sales admin role is essential with very strong multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work alone and in a team
  • Able to plan and prioritise as required working to deadlines
  • IT Literate- highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate / accessible and organised documentation
  • Ability to effectively manage customer & staff relationships, promptly respond to queries, ensure promises are kept and manage expectations
  • Highly assertive
  • Excellent mathematics skills and excel skills
  • Experience of waste management industry desirable

Salary: GBP21,000
