Adecco are recruiting for a Post Profile Coordinator, for a period of approximately 3 months, at North Wales Police based in Colwyn Bay.

Specific skills required for this position:

*A background in HR or recruiting to include a relevant qualification at HNC level and/or relevant experience;

*Demonstrate an understanding of the requirement for a Post Profile;

*Demonstrate an understanding of the Competency and Values Framework (CVF);

*Confidence to apply expertise and challenge where necessary, particularly in relation to the CVF Level;

*Experience of using ResourceLink to access post details along with good IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office;

*Strong interpersonal and communication skills and experience of dealing with people at all levels;

*Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines, responding positively under pressure;

*Evidence of the ability to pay close attention to detail.
The tasks to be completed are:

*Match each current Police Staff post to a post profile and archive Post Profiles covering posts which no longer exist;

*Ensure the details of the profile reflect the current requirements of the role;

*Ensure each Post Profile is on the current Post Profile template and reflects the information required;

*Remove reference to the old Leadership Behaviours and replace with the details of the relevant Competency and Values Framework level/s;

*Remove acronyms so that the Post Profile is easily understandable from outside the organisation;

*Provide the post profile to Diversity Unit for Equality Impact Assessment and feedback;

*Arrange for translation of those Post Profiles which are not bilingual as this is a requirement under the Welsh Language Act;

*Review each post on ResourceLink to check the post reference number and update if required;

*Retain on a new Post Profile Library that is accessible to all staff;

*Propose and agree a process for the management of Post Profiles from now on and into the future.

It is anticipated that the task will involve liaising with the relevant Line Managers and HRTSO for each role to confirm that each Post Profile accurately reflects the role.

The task will also require liaison with the workforce planning team which includes a review of the records required on our ResourceLink system for each post and each person.
