Position: Graduate/Junior Estates Surveyor/Estates Sureveyor
Location: Hertford (some homeworking available)
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent (part-time will be considered)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: GBP22,547 to GBP36,029 dependant on qualifications and experience

About the Role:

The Asset and Estate Management Team have a permanent vacancy for a full time Graduate/Junior Estates Surveyor/Estates Surveyor. This post will assist the Principal Assets & Estates Surveyor and Assets & Estates Manager by providing professional support across a broad range of estate management tasks, including providing valuation and general estate management services in respect of the Council's investment portfolio.

The team are working on a number of exciting projects and new opportunities which will provide the successful candidate with an interesting and varied role.

About You:

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and could be a Member of the RICS or other relevant professional body or working towards membership. Alternative routes such as RICS Associate (or working towards) will also be considered. Experience in either general practice surveying or land management is preferred.

You will also need to be a good team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude towards delivering outcomes, be a good communicator and have the ability to work with minimal supervision. It is important that you are IT literate and experience with GIS mapping systems is desirable.

You may have experience of the following: Graduate Estates Surveyor, Junior Estates Surveyor, Trainee Estates Surveyor, Graduate Surveyor, Junior Surveyor, Trainee Surveyor, RICS, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, NFP, Not for Profit etc.
