With offices in both Coventry and the City of London, they also have their own wholesale underwriting division and provide leading broking facilities to partners throughout the UK & Europe.

Through their consultative approach, the company specialise in providing commercial insurance products and services to businesses of all sizes via direct channel and several Appointed Representatives.

To implement their exciting growth and expansion plans during 2018, there is now a fantastic opportunity for the right people to join this dynamic organisation in a number of key roles at their Coventry office, each of whom will be responsible for delivering a customer centric experience.

The Role
The successful candidate for this fast paced and highly pivotal customer facing position must be an inspiring and proven insurance professional who will be responsible for a number of key actions to support our commercial clients.

They will have excellent knowledge of the commercial insurance products required by a multitude of business sectors and will continue to grow this knowledge as well as their technical ability through a personal development plan and formal qualifications where applicable.

A confident individual is a prerequisite, as is their ability to deliver business targets with pride and passion within a busy, demanding environment.

Main Responsibilities
• Creating and maintaining client records, both paper and electronic files
• Working with clients to obtain accurate statement of facts for their needs
• Attending client meetings where required
• Preparing new and renewal risk presentations to insurers
• Negotiating terms and pricing with underwriters and insurer panels
• Presentation of market rates to clients
• Process mid-term policy adjustments
• Closing sales and issuing policy documentation
• Organising the collection premium payments
• Ongoing account management and follow-up

Key Skills & Competencies
• B2B sales experience
• Good understanding of insurance underwriting processes
• Ability to work effectively and professionally with colleagues and clients at all levels
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Experience of Acturis insurance software very desirable
• Cert CII qualification or working towards such is desirable
