SENIOR SALES AND DESIGN CONSULTANT

My client, an international, design lead, luxury furniture and lifestyle retailer are seeking an experienced Sales professional for their UK showroom based in the trendy Old Street area of London

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and polished sales professional with previous experience within the luxury and super luxury marketplace. They will be passionate about design, have knowledge of industry relevant connections and be an excellent team player.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop proposals for architects, designers and retail clients
* Meet monthly and annual sales targets
* Produce quotations and design presentations
* Sales negotiations, site visits, project management, and after sales service
* Develop and foster relationships with new and existing trade and retail clientele
* Identify sales leads, continuously update and maintain the CRM database and sales pipeline
* Build brand loyalty through outstanding customer service
* Ensure the presentation of the showroom is immaculate, assisting with visual merchandising when required
* Assist in the planning and execution of showroom refits, sale periods, product launches, exhibitions and designer collaborations
* Liaise with suppliers, administration and logistics teams
* Attend events/exhibitions as and when required

KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

* Proven track record in contract and/or in high-end residential interiors
* Design related degree or equivalent
* A passion for furniture, interior design and/or architecture and an interest in materials and manufacturing processes
* Strong sales and negotiation skills
* Must have established relationships with Architects, Interior Designers and specifiers in London
* Optimistic, highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative, detail oriented, sales driven and team oriented
* Proactive and highly organised with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
* Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
* Excellent written and spoken English is essential
