Nescot is a forward-looking College of Further & Higher Education that serves a large area of South East England with a wide range of vocational and academic courses, both full and part-time. The College is situated in Ewell, close to Epsom in Surrey, and is located in the green belt near Epsom Downs and can easily be accessed either by car (junction 8-10 on the M25) or rail (Ewell West is close and the college is next to Ewell East where you can get regular direct trains to Clapham Junction and Victoria). The College was last inspected in February 2016 retaining its overall grading of 'Good' under the robust new Ofsted standards.

We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Sessional Lecturer in Performing Arts: Acting for Screen Specialist
(approx. 13 hours per week over Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday )

GBP27.35 per hour
We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced people to join our very successful performing arts department teaching 'Acting for Screen' to our UAL Level 2 and Level 3 Performing Arts students and Higher National Diploma Students.

Applicants will most likely have industry experience as well as a relevant academic and/or professional qualification in the subject area, together with a recognised teaching qualification or the willingness to undertake appropriate training, for which support will be given. A background in acting for the screen as well as an ability to operate recording and editing equipment is essential.

You will need to be highly organised and flexible in your approach to work as well as having a high level of interpersonal, motivational and communication skills. You will enjoy a challenge, and ideally, have experience of working within a team. You should have a passion for working with people of all ages, especially young adults and school leavers as well as having a commitment to student learning and attainment.
