Property Manager

Our client are a large public sector organisation in the East Midlands, looking for an experienced Property Manager to join their team, and oversee and lead the delivery of corporate property projects, with a strong focus on procurement, stakeholder liaison, budget management and general co-ordination.

The chosen candidate will lead the management of their property portfolio, ensuring correct maintenance plans are in place and meet performance requirements. You will also manage delegated budgets, also ensuring the best commercial return is achieved from investment properties, including negotiating terms, managing grants and general financial planning.

Additionally, you will ensure that property conditions are recorded accurately, safeguarding and fit for purpose assessments are carried out regularly, and attend meetings and provide updates where required.

To be considered for the role, you will need the following skills and/or experience:

  • A professional Build qualification (such as RICS/CIOB/BIFM)

  • Experience working a senior level in a similar environment

  • Previous experience managing a multi-site estate and multi-disciplinary project teams

  • Strong working knowledge of the development process

  • Experience managing and monitoring commissioned services

  • Experience managing resources including staff and financial budget

  • Strong reporting skills

  • Strong communication skills (including delivering presentations to stakeholders and senior members of staff)
