Accounts Receivable Clerk (Based Hayes)

Salary to GBP23k + Company Bonus + Benefits + 22 Days Holiday

A leading supplier of specialist medical equipment and products based near Hayes, Middlesex currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis.

Our client will consider a recent graduate with limited accounts experience (1 year+) as you will be trained and developed within thel accounts process and also look at external courses to develop you.

Its an exciting time to join as they have recently moved to new offices and warehouse and have got great plans to grow the business.


Accounts Receivable Clerk (Pharmaceutical Company)

  • Up to GBP23,000 per annum
  • Permanent position
  • Working in Hayes
  • 35 hours per week 09.30am to 05.30pm (Monday to Friday)
  • 1 hour lunch break
  • 22 days holiday per year

Job Description

  • Chase outstanding debts and update excel spreadsheets
  • Processing and accurately allocating Sales Ledger receipts to our customer accounts.
  • Reconciling Bank Statements (multi-currency)
  • Releasing Sales Orders according to our terms and credit limits.
  • Processing credit card payments.
  • Code remittance advices according to the correct invoice numbers
  • Setting up new customers.
  • Mailing of customer statements.
  • Assist in resolving customer queries by email and phone.
  • Submit EC Sales to the HMRC monthly
  • Maintenance of the Sales Ledger.
  • Help with the Purchase Ledger when required
  • Ad-hoc duties

The Successful Applicant Require

  • At least 1 year's experience in a Commercial Business working on the Sales Ledger
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Understanding of debits and credits
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Time Management skills
  • Excellent Communication/Organisation/PC skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Reliable, Multi Task and have a Professional manner
  • Trustworthy
