Lead Employment Development Coordinator - Levy Employers

GBP27000 to GBP30000 + travel expenses

My client is a successful well established provider of education, training and development for young people. They currently seek to appoint a Lead Employer Engagement Coordinator to work with Levy Employers.


* To develop and manage apprenticeship levy employer accounts to achieve income and recruitment targets.
* Develop new business with employers by supporting them to assess their training needs and the benefit of having apprentices/traineeships within their workforce.

* To initiate, monitor and manage relationships with a range of employers and stakeholders, ensuring commercial viability for the company and high levels of customer satisfaction.

* Achieve highly stretching apprenticeship income targets

* To secure supportive and genuine work placements, apprenticeship and standalone employment opportunities for learners in line with specific project timely achievement and sustainability targets.

* To work closely with employers to identify the training needs of their employees in accordance with the company's current and future business goals through the Apprenticeship programme and all future employment support projects.

* To support the Development Manager in the implementation of the business Employer Engagement and Marketing strategies.

Qualifications and experience


* IOSH Managing Safely
* Previous experience of delivering results in a fast paced sales environment
* Evidence of successful client contact strategies and conversion of potential leads into engaged clients
* Car owner/driver

* Ability to use a tenacious but highly professional approach to meet start targets
* Ability to communicate, enthuse and engage effectively by telephone
* Ability to plan and manage own work load to achieve key targets and objectives
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to complete and manage all auditable documents systematically
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Proven IT and administrative skills

* Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally.
* Ability to adapt to the needs of the employers, learners and the consortium leaders.

The salary on offer is GBP27000 to GBP30000 per annum plus travel expenses. This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
