Senior Carpentry Assessor / IQA: The essentials.

* Assessor Qualification (A1, TAQA, D32/D33..)
* Verifier Qualification (V1, IQA, D34...)
* Relevant industry qualification at Level 3 or above
* Strong understanding of Quality Assurance Procedures
* Have a good understanding of awarding body and funding standards
* Full UK driving licence and use of own car

* Experience of Workplace Assessment
* IQA Experience
* Strong occupational competence within the Carpentry sector
* Have the ability to motivate, inspire and encourage people

* Hold a teaching qualification (PTLLS min..)
* Higher Level Industry Qualification

Senior Carpentry Assessor / IQA: The role.

* We are looking for an experienced Assessor/IQA within the Carpentry sector, to join this fantastic Grade 2 FE establishment in this senior duel position.
* In your new role you will be responsible for the assessment of learners who are studying Carpentry at Levels 2 & 3.
* This will mostly include workplace assessment across multiple sites in the Hertfordshire & North London areas.
* You will be setting work tasks, ensuring their completion whilst monitoring the process, completing observations, reviews and action plans with each individual learner whilst continuously ensuring they are supported and progressing through their qualifications in a timely manner.
* You will also be supporting the IQA quality process and be responsible for internal quality assurance for allocated learners.
* We are eager to hear from candidates that have a fresh approach to engaging with learners, with the ability to motivate and encourage students on programme.
