Employment Plus are now recruiting for a Team Leader / Senior Care Assistant on the behalf of one of our clients, a major national provider of housing and residential services for Older People.
Located close to Kew Gardens, Richmond, you will work in a 30 bed specially adapted home that provides care and support to elderly and frail people with mild dementia
You will need to have a minimum of 2 years relevant and practical experience in a similar service, and are currently a senior carer or team leader looking for a career move.
This role is initially offered as a temp-to-perm position. You will work for Healthcare Plus (Agency) for a period of 14 weeks, if after this period of time both you and the employer are happy to proceed, you will become a permanent employee of our client.
??To ensure service users are treated with respect and dignity at all times
??To ensure person centred care plans are updated on a daily basis
??To carry out daily supervisions on a one-to-one basis.
??To lead a small team of staff as well as
??To administer medication to the services users
??You must have a Care Certificate, NVQ level 3 in Health & Social care or equivalent
??A minimum of 2 years relevant experience
??Management and Administration of Medication training and experience
??The client will also expect you to help out on shifts (If needed) as they strongly believe that the right person will not ask their staff to do a role that they themselves are not prepared to do.
This position is subject to the provision of 2 satisfactory employee references and a Clear enhanced DBS.
Pay & Benefits
??Hourly pay rate of GBP10.35
??28 Day annual Leave
??Rolling 3 week rota (week 1 : 28 hours, week 2 : 35 hours, week 3: 42 hours)
??Company pension scheme (Once perm)
