Financial Inclusion Adviser
We are now looking for a Financial Inclusion Adviser to join our Income team on a temporary basis, initially for up to 12 months. You will be identifying customers who require assistance and providing them with advice and support around household budgeting, money management and welfare benefits in order to ensure their tenancies remain sustainable. Therefore you will need excellent communication and negotiation skills as you will be liaising with external agencies to ensure our customers get the support they need.
Ideally, you will have experience of working in a housing association, although this is by no means essential. What is essential is that you have an up to date knowledge of social security and social welfare legislation, along with experience of giving budgeting and benefit advice.
