Senior / Chartered Paraplanner
The Trevor Downing Practice LLP is a private company headed up by Trevor Downing who set up the business in 1992. The business has become one of the most successful Practices in St. James's Place and has strong growth plans.
Trevor Downing and the team of support staff based in Westerham provide private clients and local businesses with a single point of contact for all their wealth management requirements.
You'll be working closely with Trevor Downing and be responsible for following through all aspects of the advice process. This will include formulating client reports, producing complex recommendations and suitability letters while managing the support team and delivering high quality service to clients.The Senior Paraplanner will be the first point of call for all Practice related matters and also be expected to discuss technical advice solutions with the Advisers within the Practice. Therefore a background in providing advice or paraplanning support is essential.
The role has responsibility for the following areas:
- Maintaining high documentation standards for all letters that are sent to clients
- Gathering and recording client data
- Managing the Client Servicing Program to set up and log all client reviews
- Communicating with selected clients and building up long term relationships
- Delegate and communicate clearly with the Back Office Support Team
- Operate within the Compliance and Corporate standards of the business
The Senior Paraplanner will assume responsibility for the management of the support staff and put in place improvements with regards to the day to day operations of the company.
An experienced Financial Adviser or Paraplanner, you will be highly driven to succeed with a great track record within a professional services company and be ready to take on a new challenge. With an eye to detail, you will be able to put in place operational improvements and motivate your team to deliver exceptional service. Ideally qualified to Chartered Level or as a minimum to Diploma Level as a Financial Planner, you will have experience in writing Suitability Letters and Client Reports and have a good knowledge of regulations and legislation with regards to financial services, human resources, IT and office management. You will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Microsoft Outlook and electronic data systems.
