About the College
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the major providers of education and training in Yorkshire and Humberside. We are one of the largest providers of A Level and vocational programmes for 16 to 19 year olds in the region. We also deliver a range of Traineeships and Apprenticeships and work with over 1,000 employers, helping them to recruit apprentices and provide bespoke training for their employees. We also offer a range of Higher Education courses for full and part-time study as well as many Adult Learning opportunities.

About the Role
As part of a team, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing support, advice and guidance to apprentices and NVQ candidates. The role will involve travelling to visit employers and candidates, and carrying out work-based assessments. You will be enthusiastic, an excellent communicator, and experienced in one or more of the following areas: Business Administration; Accounting; Team Leading / Management; Customer Service; Retail; Retail Financial Services; Hospitality.
It is essential that you have a relevant qualification, and knowledge of NVQs, apprenticeships and assessment requirements; candidates with knowledge of key / functional skills will be at an advantage. Ideally, you will also have Assessor (D32/33 or A1 or CAVA) and Verifier (D34 or V1or IQA) qualifications or be prepared to work towards these. Fluency in ICT is a requirement.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure check.
