Shape the way we respond to terrorist threats

At the National Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (NCTPHQ), we support and direct the entire UK CT Policing network. Our Strategic Design Authority (SDA) plays a crucial part in shaping our response to terrorism and how the CT network is structured. As a Strategic Design Business Lead, you'll be right at the heart of this vital work. It's a fascinating and complex area where you'll have a direct impact on the way we tackle terrorism.

You'll be in charge of a team of Business Analysts and the work that they produce. The team is tasked with delivering high level designs, design assurance and best practice design advice across the CT network. You'll check that your unit follows our Operating Model and CT strategy when providing designs, capabilities and services. If key factors change - for example, threats, the security landscape or ICT - you'll advise on the modifications that need to be made to the current business model.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role. To succeed, you'll need solid experience of leading business design activities. In the past, you'll have worked in a transformational change environment. You'll also be capable of building and inspiring a team to perform at its very best. As a skilled leader, you'll be adept at developing team members.

To apply, please visit our website to download a role specific information pack and application form.

Completed applications must be returned by Tuesday 17th October.

Please note we are only able to review the first 50 applications received.

We view diversity as fundamental to our success. To tackle today's complex policing challenges, we need a workforce made up from all of London's communities. Applications from across the community are therefore essential.
