Tired of working long shifts? Are you an experienced registered nurse or paramedic looking for a new challenge?

If so, this is the right position for you!

I am currently looking for a Clinical Advisor to work within a fantastic ambulance trust in South of England.

The NHS 111 service is provided using NHS Pathways trained call handlers and professional clinicians (nurses/ paramedics). The Trust is justifiably proud of meeting the NHS 111 service contract key performance indicators (KPIs) on most occasions: 95% of calls are answered within 60 seconds; call abandonment rate is well below the 5% target; and transfer to 999 has been reduced and remains consistently lower than the national average for all NHS 111 services.

Regular surveys undertaken over the past year confirm that patients are generally satisfied with the NHS111 service that SCAS provides.

Working within this role you will carry out complex clinical telephone triage in a sensitive manner providing assessment, advice and information in line with clinical assessment software whilst utilising your knowledge, experience and professional judgement, referring to other services where appropriate.

Essential Requirements:

- Diploma in Nursing or Paramedic Science
- HCPC or NMC registration
- Triage experience
- Ability to remain calm under pressure

- 7 weeks full time training programme
- NHS pathways assessments and call centre mentoring
- Up to 41 days Annual Leave dependent on length of service (inclusive of bank holidays)
- Providing a Nationally recognized Pathways License
- Continued support and development
- Various NHS discount opportunities
- Uniform provided
- NHS Pension Scheme
- Child care vouchers
