A brilliant and unusual opportunity has just arisen with a small and friendly company, based in Basingstoke. Due to natural progression, my client, is now seeking a strong, widely experienced and all round bookkeeper to join their team.

This will be an extremely varied role which will cover both bookkeeping and office management and would be ideal for someone who likes to feel part of the team, getting involved in every aspect of the business.

65% of this role will be finance focused and the ideal candidate will have a solid bookkeeping background, be used to working in a small team and will have excellent communication skills.

Key requirements;

Sage experience is preferable
Excellent communication skills
A positive and personable character
A proven track record of working as a bookkeeper or Finance Manager

Admin Duties
Accommodation booking
Flights and travel arrangements
Administrative duties, such as phone answering, filing and data entry
Supporting the General Manager
Managing Employee Expenses and timesheets

Finance Duties;
Generating invoices
Coding invoices and client accounts
Sales invoice experience
Inputting payments into accountancy software
Purchase & Sales Ledger management
Cost reservations & bank statements
Basic projection reporting
Monthly financial statements
