An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Northern Ireland Consultancy team as a Consultancy Manager, Projects. The chance to make a difference on this scale doesn't come along every day. What you'll be doing

Leading the development of project management in the region, overseeing the project planning, development and delivery process and managing a team of project managers and consultants. You will be the primary contact for the Head of Project Management. You will work closely with key stakeholders: the Northern Ireland Property Investment Board, Consultancy Managers, General Managers and Finance Business Partner to improve project planning, skills, delivery, prioritisation and resourcing in both consultancy and operational teams. You will be responsible for the tracking, monitoring and reporting on project planning and delivery on behalf of the Northern Ireland Property Investment Board. You'll be central to the planning and prioritisation of our programmes of work. The scope is incredibly varied. From historic buildings and visitor infrastructure, residential let estate, to environmental engineering and natural heritage.

This role will also work directly with two General Managers supporting them directly with their Consultancy needs.

Who we're looking for

You'll have experience of delivering capital projects in a multi-disciplined environment, ideally within a heritage or conservation context, along with a clear client focus and the ability to work and effectively manage your time across several projects. You'll be a strong team leader able to inspire and influence others. A project management qualification or suitable relevant experience is essential. You'll also have experience in at one or more of the disciplines mentioned above. You make things happen - and you have the track record to prove it. You'll have:

  • The ability to prioritise across multiple work streams

  • Confidence in your ability to share your expertise, insight and ideas with colleagues and clients alike
  • An understanding of how to manage change successfully within heritage settings
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Experience of people recruitment, management, and development to ensure high levels of motivation
