Bristol Medical School is the largest and one of the most diverse Schools in the University of Bristol, with approximately 930 members of staff and around 2000 undergraduate and postgraduate students spread across multiple sites. The Medical School has two departments: Population Health Sciences and Translational Health Sciences.
The new School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled administrator to provide research focussed support to senior academic staff and the School leadership team.
The role will involve working with academic and administrative staff across the School and you will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal enabling you to form effective working relationships and to contribute to the production of high quality research documentation.
In addition, you should be experienced in using a range of IT systems and be able to adapt to new systems and processes quickly.
Due to the nature of the role, the post holder will work in different locations across the School on a regular basis, including at the Learning & Research building at Southmead Hospital.
This post is open ended and offered on a full-time basis but applications from candidates wanting to work in a more flexible manner will be considered. You should indicate your preferred hours of work in your application.
