Tradewind are working exclusively with a Catholic school in Rochdale to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 teacher to join their hardworking and friendly staff. The school were recently rated as 'good' by Ofsted with mention on the improvements in teaching standards since the last time Ofsted were in. The new Head has put a lot of focus on CPD ensuring all teachers have access to the best career development. They have also focused on ensuring the right provisions are in place in each classroom, ensuring TA support is standard and that any additional support is in place should the classroom warrant it.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent practitioner with experience of KS1 but the school are willing to consider NQT's and can support induction if required. Evidence of making progress within your previous role would be fantastic or in the case of an NQT, excellent observations and references. However, a teacher with the enthusiasm, commitment and vision to deliver a varied and creative curriculum is what is most sought.

The candidate will be paid per their experience and will benefit from a supportive SLT. You will be welcomed into the school as a permanent member of staff with the opportunity to win a permanent contract at the end of the year should all go well. You will also benefit from Tradewind's extensive CPD programme and well as a dedicated consultant to support you through the year.
