Salary details: GBP23,398 - GBP25,951 per annum (depending on experience) & excellent benefits

This is an exciting time to join Rotherham and make a real difference supporting the Senior Leadership Team through providing direct, confidential and flexible administrative and technical support to the Assistant Chief Executive.

This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting, varied and fast-paced role working with the Assistant Chief Executive in managing their workload, prioritising tasks and communicating effectively with various internal/external customers and stakeholders.

We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, committed and highly organised individual to join our Management Support Team; helping us to continue our journey to become a modern, high performing Local Authority.

You should have a Level 6 qualification (e.g. Bachelor Degrees, Graduate Certificates and Diplomas) or alternatively a Level 5 qualification (e.g. Diplomas of HE and FE, foundation degrees and HNDs) with experience in relevant areas of work over a period of years. Those with an equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience will also be considered.

It is important that you have experience of working in a senior administrative role in an office environment, including providing direct support to a senior manager via diary and email management. This should include arranging meetings, producing agendas and minute taking.

You will be a highly organised individual who is able to work under pressure to meet challenging and competing deadlines. Monitoring and progressing issues in a logical manner. An awareness of the need to maintain sensitive and confidential information and the ability to act with tact and diplomacy is essential.
