Practice Nurse - part time (3 days per week)
The University of Bristol Students' Health Service plays a pivotal role in student life by offering a unique and leading edge NHS General Practice to around 18,000 University students and their dependents, most of whom are in the 18-24 year age group. The practice nursing team consists of highly skilled primary care nurses and healthcare assistants providing a range of services and support within a well-established and friendly environment.
The practice is looking to recruit a part time practice nurse for 3 full days a week (Monday, Thursday and Friday, 9-5pm) until mid-October 2018 to cover a period of maternity leave. Occasional working on a Saturday or evening (approximately twice a term) is also required.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced medical professional to deliver a high quality service within a dynamic and rewarding environment. You should be an experienced practice nurse ideally with experience or knowledge relevant to working with the student age group. Experience of working in a University or similar type of setting would be an advantage but is not essential as is a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.
