Temporary Alternative Curriculum Teachers needed for Dover area

Are you a Teacher with experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour and a range of learning difficulties?

Are you looking for a new teaching opportunity outside of mainstream education?

Do you want the flexibility to work when you want to? CER Education's SEN Division is working on behalf of an alternative education provision based in the Dover area to provide temporary teachers. Our client offers an alternative learning environment for disengaged and disaffected students. Many students also have complex learning difficulties. Placements can be of a short-term, ad hoc or long-term basis depending on the need.

In order to carry out the role effectively, you will:

- Have a recognised teaching qualification

- Have the ability to deliver creative and innovative lessons to students who are reluctant and disengaged from education

- Be able to differentiate the curriculum for students with a range of learning difficulties

- Have proven behaviour management skills

- Have experience of leading a team of support staff

- The ability to build and manage relationships constructively with a wide range of pupils

- Have a great sense of humour!
