Palaeobiology Senior Teaching Associate
We are seeking a dedicated senior teaching associate for our world renowned MSc Palaeobiology Programme. You will be embedded within the Palaeobiology Research Group. Your major tasks will include formulation and co-supervision of research projects and general contribution to teaching throughout the programme. Project supervision is key, and requires expert knowledge of current methods and debates in palaeobiology, as well as experience of translating research outcomes to publication.
You must have attention to detail, a good rapport with students, as well as experience in research supervision and academic mentoring. A PhD in a relevant subject and proved technical skills in at least one area of palaeobiological research (e. g. macroevolution, biomechanics, phylogenetics or experimental taphonomy) are essential.
