Job Title: Social Worker
Location: Police Headquarters, Welwyn Garden City
Salary Range: GBP30,153 - GBP37,306 plus 12.3% salary enhancement pa (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: Full time and part time positions available
Contract: Permanent

These are rare opportunities for Social Workers who are HCPC registered and Approved Mental Health Professionals - please note you must be AMHP registered to apply for these posts.

Safeguarding Out of Hours Service operate outside of the normal working day, therefore shifts are available for evenings, overnight and weekends. You will be based at Police Headquarters, with the option of working from home. Shifts are busy and the work is challenging and varied.

You will have experience and knowledge of relevant legislation with proven ability working with vulnerable people in health and social care. You will have extensive experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice. You will be self-motivated, with the ability to work alone when required.

This post has a salary enhancement of 12.3% for out of hours working.
