Location: Westerham, Kent

Salary: GBP40-60k plus bonus and benefits

Working for The Trevor Downing Practice LLP - A Principal Partner Practice within St. James's Place Partnership.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Paraplanner to work within a highly successful St. James's Place Wealth Management Practice. You will be working closely alongside the Partner, managing the HNW business generated by him and managing the operational systems as required.

St. James's Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading, and highly regarded, FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High Net Worth client base. SJP has Funds Under Management in excess of GBP83bn.

This is a well established SJP Practice and one of the most successful.

The Role - Senior Paraplanner

Working closely alongside the Principal Partner, Trevor Downing, as he advises clients and your responsibilities will include ensuring all aspects of the entire business process are handled in an efficient, compliant and timely manner and seen through to completion.

You will be dealing with many of his clients - many of whom have complex requirements - and building long term relationships with them. You will also be managing his Back Office Support team and will responsible for their training and development.

Importantly, you will act as a technical point of contact for the team and the clients on a daily basis. You will maintain high documentation standards.

You will also manage some operational third party relationships, including IT Support.

The Person -- Senior Paraplanner

This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate, IT proficient and driven professional individual who has excellent Financial Services Technical knowledge and ideally some supervisory experience. Importantly you have a 'can do' working style.

You will have been working within an IFA or Wealth Management environment and you will hold your Level 4 DipPFS qualification or may even be Chartered. You have a strong technical knowledge in the areas of Taxation, Trusts, Investment and Pensions.

You are highly organised, are used to having contact with clients, and are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.
