Student Experience Manager
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join our dynamic team to take a professional lead in developing a culture of customer care and the delivery of a professional frontline service that is accessible, high quality and informed by our students. This role sits alongside another Student Experience Manager, and together you will lead the team and manage a range of projects and activities.
Reporting to the Associate Director Advice & Guidance, you will develop and manage highly effective delivery across both campuses, including 1st and 2nd level triage, and ensure seamless interaction with Schools and Services across our university.
Alongside ensuring the team acts effectively as a first point of contact for enquiries from prospective and current students, staff, and visitors, you will develop ‘back office’ functions through close liaison with contributing services.
Leeds Beckett is the only UK University to hold Customer Service Excellence and Investors in People Gold for the whole institution. You will take a lead on Customer Service Excellence across Student Services, and work with all Service Heads to fully embed a culture of customer care.
Candidates should have proven experience of delivering excellent customer service, a clear understanding of the importance of customer feedback, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, experience of managing a high performing team in a student/customer focused environment, and a proven commitment to the setting and monitoring of high service standards and continuous service improvement.
