Salary Range: GBP25,951 - GBP37,306 pa (pro rata for part-time)

An exciting opportunity to join a new Adult Disability Service in the East Herts & Broxbourne Adult Disability Team where you will be supported to deliver an integrated service to adults with Learning Disabilities and/or a Physical Disability in a social care setting.
The role will include undertaking assessment of needs for people who may require social care and advice. You'll complete personalised care and support planning and provide advice on equipment, adaptations, moving & handling and encourage to develop enabling programmes. Your focus will be to ensure that creative solutions are sought to enable people to live fulfilling lives in their communities. As a social care department part of your role will include undertaking safeguarding investigations as part of the Making Safeguarding Personal agenda.
You will be supported by regular supervision, a specific OT induction as well as the department's induction. Hertfordshire pride themselves in ensuring that staff have training opportunities and run generic and OT specific courses. You will be encouraged to attend CPD and networking events.
