We need
  • A Resourcing Consultant to join our Resourcing Delivery Team
  • Based in Swindon or Northampton
  • Salary GBP30,204 - GBP43,628 a year dependent on skills, experience and current remuneration

In this role, you will be responsible for managing vacancies through the end-to-end recruitment process and supporting relevant Resourcing Managers to implement attraction strategies. Comfortable dealing with candidates and hiring managers alike, your work will be focussed on the customer-facing parts of our business, which we call Relationships and Distribution. This includes high volume recruitment into contact centres and our branch network, in addition to specialist head office roles and is geographically diverse across the UK (so some travel will be necessary). Who we're looking for

To succeed, you'll need to be an experienced recruitment professional with a proven track record of success, coupled with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and candidates.

As a minimum you'll need:
  • Experience of working in an in-house recruitment function within a volume or specialist sector
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with your colleagues and wider HR team
  • Demonstrable experience of developing attraction strategies and brand awareness within industry sectors
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience of building and maintaining strong external networks and providing appropriate market insight and knowledge
  • Good working knowledge of employment law, policy and governance requirements

It would be nice if you also had:
  • Relevant professional qualification such as degree or CIPD
  • Contact Centre or High Volume recruitment background

What you'll be doing

Supporting the Resourcing Manager, you will;
  • Develop and implement appropriate attraction strategies for your community
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, candidates and Third Parties ensuring a positive experience and journey for both
  • Advise the business on recruitment best practice and discuss appropriate assessment processes
  • Manage your performance against KPIs for vacancies in your portfolio, including budget management and governance requirements
  • Work closely with community partnering to ensure full visibility of any challenges or emerging issues in your sector
  • Engage with wider Resourcing Team to identify potential candidates as appropriate
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of industry sector and competitors to provide insight on best practice and benchmarking
