This is a fantastic engagement opportunity for someone who has a passion for helping local communities to improve the lives of family and friend carers.

Our Services
Our teams offer support to adults and young adults who are unpaid family and friend Carers. The charity has been accredited as an 'excellent' local provider of quality support for Carer wellbeing across the spectrum of information, advice, assessment and support with teams working collaboratively and through partnerships.

Your Role
The focus of the role is to encourage carers who are hard to reach to seek support - through engaging with cultural and faith groups and raising awareness of the services available to Carers within the community. You will act as an ambassador, helping to promote CSWS at community events and other local events that you have organised and working with Partner organisations.

Key Skills and Experience
It is essential that you can build rapport with individuals and communities. You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, social media and diary management, as well as demonstrating excellent spoken and written communication in English. You will need to have a second language in either Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi or Gujarati.

You must possess a full driving licence and have access to a car.

Working for us
Employing more than 90 staff and 60 volunteers, we make a real difference to the carers we support. In our 2016 staff survey, 100% of staff felt they had a real impact on people's lives.

You will be assured of a friendly and supportive working environment, flexible and family friendly working practices and sound line management direction. Our staff are supported with regular training opportunities, supervision and access to reflective practice and employee assistance programmes. We offer a pension scheme and free parking at our work locations.

If you'd like to become part of a dedicated team and be rewarded by job satisfaction while making a real difference to your local community, we'd love to hear from you.
