About Us: The British Liver Trust is a leading charity that supports those affected by liver disease, whatever the cause and wherever they live. Currently, liver disease is the third leading cause of premature death in the UK and the only one of the five big killer diseases that continues to increase. We are on a mission to improve liver health by providing information and support, funding and championing research and campaigning for better services for people affected by liver disease. We are looking for a Community Fundraiser to join us on a part-time basis working 30 hours per week spread across four or five days. Your Rewards: - Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 pro rata DOE - Pension - Life assurance You will be an experienced Community Fundraiser with a passion for healthcare. The 30 hours can be spread across four or five days, giving flexibility to this exciting new role. Your Role: As a Community Fundraiser, you will form a key part of our small Fundraising Team. Critical to the growth of our charity, the Fundraising Team is seeking to drive increased income over the next five years. Specifically, you will be tasked with developing and delivering community fundraising strategies and the management of groups of volunteers. You will: - Maximise fundraising income for our Trust - Develop community fundraising strategies and workplans - Contribute to, and support, our overall fundraising strategy - Develop and manage volunteer-led fundraising strategies - Support families and friends raising funds in memory of a loved one - Develop and implement plans for specific campaigns - Forge and strengthen relationships with community fundraisers - Support communications with donors - Recruit and line manage community fundraising volunteers - Oversee the community fundraising income and expenditure budget About You: To be considered as a Community Fundraiser, you will need: - Experience in charity fundraising - Proven experience of developing and managing a successful volunteer-led community fundraising programme Ideal candidates will also be experienced in tribute fund and in memory fundraising, however this is by no means essential. We are eager to hear from you if you have held the role of Community Fundraiser, Charity Fundraiser, Fundraiser, Community and Event Fundraiser, Tribute Fundraiser, Fundraising Executive, or Senior Fundraiser. This is a part time role, working 30 hours per week.
