The Squirrels is a specialist residential home for up to 9 adults, set up in order to extend our provision beyond school age. Its emphasis is on developing life, vocational and intellectual skills that will support a successful transition into adult life. A quiet, rural location near the village of North Baddesley is ideal for safe access to a small local shop and a country pub. The proximity of Southampton gives wider opportunities to use public transport to visit shopping centres and other city amenities. Nearby countryside and coast provide opportunities for exercise and experiencing the joys of nature.
In this role you will:
• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
• Maintain daily, weekly cleaning regimes
• Ensure that equipment is clean and well maintained
• Ensure cleaning stock is maintained.
We're looking for people who have:
• Knowledge of COSHH (desirable)
• Experience in housekeeping or domestic work (desirable)
• A friendly, positive attitude.
