Part Time Bookkeeper

24 hours per week, 8am - 5pm for 3 days. Must work every Monday.

Salary is dependent on experience.

Manage the day-to-day accounting operations for the company, bookkeeping, and handling all financial related queries
Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
Managing relationships with suppliers
Credit Control
Completing VAT and EC Sales returns
Posting invoices on SAGE

Posting Monthly Payroll Journals on SAGE
Running Profit and Loss Monthly reports
Preparing weekly payment lists for Suppliers and Monies due/cash flow from Customers
Some data analysis and ad hoc reporting across the business
Provide information to the external accountant who creates the company's financial statements
Conduct reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
Logging of staff expenses, fuel cards, company credit cards etc…

Issuing and logging of Purchase Order Numbers for Suppliers

Monthly cross invoice checking to ensure all work invoiced.

Ensure Business Insurance is up to date and relevant to activities undertaken within business

Provide ad-hoc admin support to the project team in busy operational periods - answer telephone enquiries if the rest of the team are busy on calls
