Office Angels are currently recruiting on behalf of our client an Part Time Administrative Assistant. This is a Part Time role, located in Edinburgh. You will also be required to work Full Time for 8 weeks of the year. Office hours are Monday - Tuesday, 08:30AM-16:30PM. Salary up to £17,000 pro rata per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

* The successful candidate will undertake various administration duties including telephone cover and providing assistance to the Admin & accounts department .
* General Responsibilities & Duties:
* Providing telephone cover.
* Accepting customer telephone credit card payments.
* Contacting customers regarding payment before the release of jobs.
* Assisting with daily backup and updating sales figures on a daily basis.
* Assisting with registrations and audits.
* Completion of ad hoc financial and administrative projects as required by admin team.
* Providing assistance with posting purchase invoices and other accounting duties.
* Helping customers with enquires, learning and understanding the company bi-spoke production tracking system
* Ensuring customer payment are allocated correctly.
* Meet deadlines and prioritise workload accordingly.
* Establish a good working relationship with all colleagues.
* Ensuring our customer service standards are adhered too.
* Deal with varied day to day workload
* Communicate with Customers.
* Maintain confidentiality on accounts and staff issues, failure to do so could result in disciplinary action.
* To undertake training, as necessary, to maintain high standards in the quality of work, as outlined in the Job Description.
* To be aware of current Health and Safety Policy and to take responsibility for own safety and the safety of other members of staff who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
* Understand and comply with the company values as detailed in the Staff Hand book.
* To undertake any other duties within the scope of the finance and administration departments as prescribed at your initial place of work.

Experience, Skills, Attributes Required:

* Literate and Numerate
* Maths and English Standard Grade or equivalent
* Experience working in an office environment.
* Willing and able to work as part of a team.
* Willing to learn and to undertake in house training.
* Experience in front line customer telephone enquiries.
* An ability to follow a step by step detailed process.
* Attention to detail.
* An ability to be flexible, work under pressure and prioritise workloads.
* Good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
* Excellent telephone manner.
