We have a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a commercially astute and talented office manager to join a boutique business based in a stunning Birmingham City Centre office on a part time basis.

Working around 30 hours per week either over 4 or 5 days, as Office Manager and the stand alone support function in the office, on a day to day basis you will be responsible for streamlining and creating all business operational processes, adding increased organisation and support to the small team. With full responsibility for the day to day running of the office and all administrative procedures, you will ensure that the executives in the business can manage their workload efficiently.

Alongside your Office Management duties, you will also provide executive PA support and will manage diaries, prepare PowerPoint presentations, oversee company invoicing, manage expenses and organise events. Working in a varired and highly rewarding role, you will be a confident individual, able to “roll with the punches” and adapt to different scenarios at short notice. Naturally as Office Manager, you will have the opportunity to play an integral part of an expanding business.

As the first point of contact for all general enquiries, you will have a commercially savvy and customer focussed approach, with outstanding communication skills to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Organisation and leadership will be key attributes in your repertoire, as you will be responsible for ensuring the office’s efficiency is streamlined and constantly improving. You will handle the procurement of office supplies, ensure the office kitchen is fully stocked and support contracts with external suppliers.

You will be available immediately, or with a short notice period for this temporary to permanent opportunity, and have a wealth of experience in a similar office management role. You will be a dynamic, pro-active professional, keen to take on the challenge of a brand new role where all systems and business processes will need to be created. You will be adaptable and flexible with first class attention to detail and organisational skills.
