Dean Healthcare is delighted to be recruiting for one of its most prestigious clients. Supporting the most complex, vulnerable and hard to place adults and young people within our society. including those with autistic spectrum conditions, mild to severe learning difficulties, mental health conditions and challenging behaviour. Situated in beautiful rural Herefordshire the facility is designed to support and play an imperative part in the transition from childhood to adulthood and therefore there are a number of residential facilities on site each designed and segrogated for specilaist support for each age group.
I have a number of full time and part time permanent roles available. I also have night posts available so if you are a night owl this could be of interest to you.
Dependent on experience and qualificaiton full time (37hrs per week) ranges from £14625 - £17425 per annum (between £7.50 - £9.00 p/hr)
You will need to be able to work in line with shift patterns, typically working a mixture of early and late shifts between the hours of 07:00-23:00. You will also need to be prepared to work every other weekend.
As the site is within the countryside there are NO direct public transport links and therefore you will need to hold a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.

As a Residential Support Worker you will be responsible for the safety, wellbeing and care of vulnerable people. Whlst always promoting independece You will need to assist people with personal care needs to include, washing, dressing and general hygiene maintenance. You will need to engage, include and promote meaningful activities, accessing the local community and be involved in the organisation and participation for escursions and trips. You will be expected to manage all levels of beahviours inline with company training and policy. You will be required to work in line with regulations, company policies and precedures. Recording and reporting is a large part of the role not only written but using IT systems. You will need to have basic ICT skills.
Ideally applicants would have experience within health & social care. However, these are the main traits I am looking for to be considered for this role; Positive attitude, resilient, energetic, empathetic to people with multiple disabilities and positive in the face of diversity.
