Our client has fantastic opportunities for Support Workers to join the team in Suffolk. Joining them on a full time permanent, part time permanent or bank basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £7.60 rising to £ 7.70 after probation.

As one of their Support Workers you will need to develop warm and trusting relationships with people with learning disabilities to help them to lead fulfilling and independent lives. No two days are the same – you will be supporting the tenants to undertake household chores, including planning and preparing meals to supporting them in leisure, education and employment services inside and outside of the home.
Experience of caring/supporting people with mental health support needs in a paid or voluntary capacity is desirable you will also need to have exceptional relationship building skills as you will be part of an experienced staff team working inside their homes. Excellent listening and communication skills and a positive encouraging attitude is a must. As one of their Support Workers, you will need to be able to demonstrate a good standard of written, verbal and numeracy skills as well as good basic IT skills. Most important is a genuine passion for supporting people with learning disabilities to reach their full potential.

Salary: £7.60 rising to £ 7.70 after probation
Hours of work: They are looking for Support Workers in the following areas in Suffolk, Kirton requires one full time (38 hours), and Ipswich one part time (20 Hours) .They also require Bank staff across their Suffolk services. You will be required to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and possible “sleep-ins” or “on call” duties.
