LOCATION: Clitheroe

JOB TITLE: School Site Manager

SALARY & BENEFITS: £23,398 - £24,964

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday - 37 hours per week

THE COMPANY: Our client is a mixed selective 11-18 grammar school with academy status. Their main school (Years 7-11) has approximately 660 pupils with a sixth form centre with around 630 students from over 40 secondary schools. Founded in 1554 our clients school has provided a centre of excellence, offering superb teaching and learning opportunities. Maintaining a very strong academic record and being one of the country's highest achieving school, students benefit greatly from outstanding teaching, exceptional pastoral care and first class facilities.

THE ROLE: This is a fantastic opportunity to become a senior member of the schools support team. You will be responsible for the health and safety and maintenance of the two schools sites. You may be required to undertake occasional weekend and evening work to cover school events.

Key Responsibilities for the School Site Manager role to include:-
  • Site management and security
  • Supervision of site teams
  • Health and Safety
  • Maintenance of 2 x school sites

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic and highly motivated. You will be diligent, self-motivated, pro active, well organised and flexible with excellent communication skills. Ideally you will have knowledge of COSHH and health and safety regulations.

Key experience essential for the role of the School Site Manager:-
  • Experience of supervising staff
  • Good IT skills
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
  • Live within a commutable distance to Clitheroe
