A co-educational SEN/PRU School in East London has an immediate vacancy for a part-time PPA teacher.

A part-time PPA Teacher who is comfortable covering KS3 & 4 classes across the curriculum is required on an immediate basis for a large SEN/PRU school in East London. Like many schools in Central London, the January - March period is particularly busy for supply due to staff illness and continual SEN training. This role would suit an experienced Secondary Teacher who holds either a Math, English or Science specialism.

Applicants will have ideally taught in a mainstream or SEN setting within London and have a good understanding of how to deliver effective lessons to students who have special educational and behavioural learning needs. There are 8-10 students in each class which are well supported with an experienced support staff of TA’s and LSA’s. Applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate (registered on the Update Service) and be available immediately until the summer term.

This is a rare opportunity to join a vibrant and well-run SEN school in East London. Students are supported by an experienced and talented team of specialist staff who work in close unison to ensure a tailored education for each student. Students participate in a wide range of lessons including science, Food, ICT, PE and various school trips to local attractions.
