Three days a week 22.5 hours (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) JDRF is an ambitious and rapidly growing charity seeking a part-time Human Resources Manager to join our HR team.   The JDRF HR team provides a pro-active people first approach to delivering support and expertise in all areas of HR for the organisation and supports the CEO and the Senior Management Team in fulfilling JDRF’s aims. HR works closely with all JDRF colleagues in London and the four regions, to ensure the delivery of a customer focused HR service to c. 70 staff of JDRF around the UK.  Working to the Head of HR you will use your experience in HR management to input into multi-year strategies for HR, deliver annual operating plans, develop and manage budgets, and lead on ongoing day-to-day HR issues.  Responsibilities will include ensuring HR policies are up to date, drafting and communicating new policies, monitoring and evaluating HR KPIs, recruitment and selection, staff engagement, learning & development, and formal and informal performance management. You will have good generalist HR experience and an understanding of UK employment law, with excellent skills in people management and in developing processes.  You have the ability to ensure optimal use of the HR staff database and oversee the accurate completion of monthly payrolls, and have a structured approach to your work. The role will manage the HR Officer, so line management experience is essential.
