JOB TITLE: Financial Administrator

SALARY & BENEFITS: £17,000 - £19,000

WORKING HOURS: Full Time 40 hours a week

As part of the Energy Assets Group the company now employs over 100 staff to design and construct gas and electricity networks. With an enviable list of established blue chip clients Dragon needs dynamic and enthusiastic new team members to help continue this exciting journey. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Administrator to join their team.

THE ROLE: The role of Financial Administrator is a key role within the company, you will play crucial part in the Asset Values process. Asset Values are a key source of revenue for the company and there is an intricate process that must be followed to secure the payment for each unit. As well as general administration duties you will work closely with colleagues to ensure processes are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit AV claims in a timely manner with all required documentation
  • Update and maintain various databases daily
  • Process completed service and meter cards
  • Ensure that all stakeholders submit the required documentation in a timely manner
  • Ensure AV claims are agreed by the IDNO/IGT prior to the Finance Department generating an invoice
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all IDNOs and IGTs and their requirements relating to AVs
  • Remain aware of all AV amendments due to changes on sites
  • Liaise daily with the Operational teams - both technical support and site staff, Project
  • Managers, Developers, IDNOs and IGTs
  • Utilise information included in monthly IDNO and IGT reports to reconcile evidence
  • Attend weekly, planning meetings to gain intelligence information and address any
  • outstanding issues face-to- face with Project Managers & Supervisors

THE CANDIDATE: The Financial Administrator role requires a methodical approach and the candidate should have an analytical ability with a steadfast attitude and tenacious skills to succeed. The ability to take ownership of the role and to keep track of how each claim is progressing is key.

This role as it is very much about the personal skills you posses and what you feel you could bring to the role. You will need to have good overall IT skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively.
