SALARY & BENEFITS: £21,883 per annum plus benefits

THE COMPANY: Our client are a local charity with a big ambition: to help everyone face death informed, supported and pain free. Providing expert hospice care, our client is there for people in West Sussex and East Surrey when life comes full circle.

ambition to reach everyone that needs their services. To achieve our client is looking to increase awareness of their mission, raise more funds and develop an organisational culture where all staff
understand and support our vision and now seek a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join their existing team based in Crawley, West Sussex.

THE ROLE: As a Marketing & Communications Coordinator you will report to and be managed by the Head of Marketing and Communications and you will be responsible for delivering internal communications that inform and motivate our client's colleagues across all hospice sites. You'll manage our patient information collateral and support internal and external marketing and communications activity across all channels, to increase engagement with the full range of St Catherine's activities. You will achieve this through a range of organisational initiatives, plan, creating and editing a range of press releases, internal and online publications, updating website's content and raising online presence through social media channels, and regular analysis of marketing methods and activity.

From encouraging people to trek in China, to finding and sharing patient stories, our clients varied
and rich content provides opportunities to engage donors, supporters, healthcare professionals and colleagues in our work.

This is an exciting, varied, and rewarding hands-on role with the opportunity to make an impact and support the future direction of our client's organisation, whilst helping those facing death or bereavement in Sussex and East Surrey.

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Marketing & Communications Coordinator's role must be educated to at least A-Level standard (or equivalent qualification) and must have proven experience working in a similar Communications & Marketing role. You must have excellent copy writing ability as well as excellent organisational, administrative, planning and time management skills and must have experience in creating offline and online (digital) marketing content. This is a varied role where you will liaise with a range of departments, external partners, and individuals using our client's services so must be flexible, sensitive person who has an understanding of how to communicate with a number of audiences with varying objectives whilst keeping a consistent tone of voice.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Marketing & Communications Coordinator's role in Winchester, Hampshire :-

- Educated to A-level standard (or equivalent qualification)
- Previous experience working in a similar Communications & Marketing role essential
- Excellent copy writing ability and experience in standard offline & online marketing methods essential
- Must have excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
- Must be flexible and able to occasionally meet with partners or client's outside of normal working hours (will acquire time in lieu)
- Must live within commutable distance to Crawley, West Sussex
