Position: Group Coordinator
Location: Exeter
Contract type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 14.00 per week
Salary: £7,312.00 per annum

About the Role:

Alzheimer's Society provides a variety of groups around Devon including; Activity groups, Singing for the Brain groups and Carer Support groups.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in Devon to support people with dementia and their carers.

You will be responsible for coordinating, organising and facilitating groups that are stimulating, enjoyable and safe.

You will work closely with volunteers, external organisations and local communities to involve them delivering the groups, and in sustaining them for the future.

The role will be delivered over two days a week - primarily Wednesday and Thursday, however flexibility will be required to cover annual leave within the team.

About You:

The successful candidate will be a good communicator who is able to develop a friendly and professional relationship with a variety of stakeholders and has a passion for delivering excellent services for people with dementia.
