Title: Facilities Helpdesk Operator - 24 hours per weekLocation: Bristol Filton: Oxleigh House, Coldharbour Lane | Bristol Salary: £10,940.32 plus a shift allowance of £1,332Contract type: Part Time, Permanent Working hours: Shift work of either two twelve hour shifts or three eight hours shifts, with the flexibility to cover the occasional holidays and sickness including nights/weekends About the company At Tascor we take a partnership approach to delivering our facilities management, maintenance, and transport and custody solutions. PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE The part time Helpdesk Operator will take and record all Helpdesk calls, faxes and emails, filter queries and call out various sub-contractors for maintenance, repairs and other functions as required. The Helpdesk Operator will ensure correct progress is made against all events raised at the Helpdesk and ensure that all actions are correctly logged and timed. The Helpdesk Operator will also be responsible for administering all the bookings relating to the Conference and Hospitality Services. This service covers all room bookings and catering requirements. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Answer, record as necessary and action telephone enquires in an appropriate and courteous manner within agreed service standards. * Provide support and clerical functions required for service provision to all contracts. * Provide a flexible approach to your duties and carry out occasional alternative tasks as required by the Helpdesk Manager. * Answer all incoming calls to the Helpdesk in a prompt and efficient manner, providing a primary response to all Tascor service requests. * Liaise with appropriate managers and internal/external contractors as required in order to fulfill the caller's requirements. * Provide an effective, professional response to all service requests in accordance with Helpdesk policy and procedures, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. * Record and respond to all booking requests for the conference and meeting rooms, transferring all catering requirements to the catering provider. * Ensure any complaints are logged and dealt with in accordance with the Tascor Complaints Procedure. * Proactively communicate with customer staff to ensure that all relevant staff are fully aware of the current state of the event they have logged or complaint they have made * Capture all relevant performance and management data for management analysis. * Identify report and log all contractual failures as required. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Previous experience in an administrative role and a good telephone manner * Computer literate * Microsoft Office, Word, Excel Publisher qualified * Facilities Management Administration Experience (Not Essential but preferable) * Current driving licence with own transport employment would be advantageous What's in it for you?At Capita, training and development aren't optional extras: they're how we do our job.
