The primary responsibility of the Audit Junior will be to provide audit services to clients. This full time role will be subject to the apprenticeship framework and based at our Peterborough office.

The role will be predominantly auditing, ranging from small companies to large group audits; it will also involve undertaking accounts preparation tasks. You will be expected to be work as part of a team in ensuring audit work is completed on a timely basis to a required standard. You will receive the necessary assistance and guidance as required.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate for this position will be AAT qualified, a university graduate or otherwise eligible to commence studying ACCA (fundamental level) or ICAEW (professional level) ideally with some previous work experience that will be of some relevance to this role. Candidates eligible for AAT Level 4 with relevant work experience will also be considered.

Other skills and experience required are as follows:

Experience of working in a business financial environment preferably with some involvement in audit, maintaining accounting records or preparing accounts

Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Adaptable, positive attitude with a friendly approachable disposition

Ability to work effectively within a team environment and support others

Good IT skills
