Teacher in Maths
Salary: Up to £31,017 pro rata (depending on experience)
Hours: 33.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our adult Numeracy team, delivering GCSE maths and Functional Skills maths from entry level to level 2.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment to adult students, to maximise achievement and the improvement of skills. Good motivational and classroom management skills are essential. An ability to manage time effectively to complete workload and achieve Key Performance Indicators is required, as are flexibility and being receptive to new ideas and approaches.
The successful candidate will be a level 5 qualified teacher (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS, QTLS), preferably with a minimum level 3 subject specific qualification in maths.
